London Art Week 2021
When does London Art Week Winter 2021 begin?
The next edition of London Art Week Winter 2021 will be from 3 to 10 December and will take place online and in galleries and auction houses. From Friday 3 December, each exhibitor will have up to 10 artworks on show on the London Art Week website. There will be an invitation-only online Preview on Thursday 2 December.
Will exhibitions be held in galleries?
For this hybrid event, exhibitions will be held online and in galleries. If you would like to visit an exhibition in person, please refer to the exhibitor pages for individual opening times.
What is 'Art History in Focus'?
In October 2020, London Art Week introduced a new series of interim Autumn and Spring online events: Art History in Focus. Another impressive line-up of insightful and lively talks will be taking place from 15-22 October 2021. Further details will follow.
What is the London Art Week Showcase?
From July 2021, London Art Week has partnered with Cromwell Place, the recently-opened exhibition space in South Kensington, to hold its-first physical satellite showcase presenting a variety of works from over 30 participating galleries. This Winter, the partnership continues bringing pre-contemporary art to the attention of a new generation of collectors.
Will there be events during London Art Week?
After the highly acclaimed edition in December 2020 in honour of the 500th anniversary of Raphael's death, this year the London Art Week Winter 2021 Symposium will take place online over the course of three days. Additionally, this Winter London Art Week will offer an exciting programme of events in collaboration with some of the leading institutions and experts in their fields. Events will be held either digitally or live. The full line-up of events and speakers will be announced soon.
