Walter Padovani's gallery has been located in the heart of the fashion district in Milan since 2000. Specialised in Italian sculpture and paintings from the 17th to 19th century, he also studies and deals in precious works of art dating from the 17th century to the Neo-Classical period, such as wax figures, works in pietra dura, tortoiseshell, coral, engraved gemstones and cameos. Walter Padovani pays close attention to research, quality, provenance and the state of conservation of the works of art in his care. He collaborates closely with leading academics in the field, and regularly publishes the results of his work. Since 2000, Svetlana Barni has been the gallery manager.
The Galleria Walter Padovani exhibits regularly at prestigious art fairs like BIAF and TEFAF Maastricht.
