About
Shapero Modern, set up in 2014, focuses on modern & contemporary prints, multiples and works of art, curating several shows annually on topical themes at their Maddox Street gallery. We also specialise in historical prints, watercolours and original works of art across a broad range of subjects, from antique architectural and natural history prints to modern pochoir plates, as well as photographs from vintage to modern art.

Rory Hutton: Gardening in Linocut
On Tuesday 21st November we unveiled a collection of exquisite, limited edition linocuts by Rory Hutton.
Rory Hutton is an artist and designer working primarily through the medium of linocuts.
Inspired by history, gardens, opera and antiques, Rory has collaborated with major institutions including The British Museum, The Wallace Collection, Buckingham Palace, The V&A, The Royal Opera House, and Highgrove.
During 2020 Rory began to explore his love of gardening and this work has developed from this period. ‘Living in a small flat without a garden or even a balcony, I came up with my own project inspired by some of my favourite gardeners of the twentieth century and I set about gardening vicariously through them.'
This exhibition celebrates Rory‘s love of gardens and will be the first dedicated show of his original linocuts.
