2023 EXHIBITORS

REVE ART was established in 2018 by Andrea Lovato and Clara Santini and specialises in 20th century Venetian Art.

The gallery's research focuses particularly on the Pittura del Rinnovamento, linked to the Venice Art Biennales and their polemical and secessionist counterpart represented by the exhibitions at Ca' Pesaro. This is an under-appreciated period of art history that runs from 1895 when the first International Art Exhibition of the City of Venice took place, to the late 1950s, when the Venetian Spatialism, a revolutionary synthesis of light and colour, was coming to its end.

Clara Santini is an art historian and AAI (Associazione Antiquari d'Italia) member. In addition to her works on Venetian painting of the 13th and 14th centuries, she has published four books on Veneto furniture and Venetian lacquers, as well as other essays and catalogues.
