2023 EXHIBITORS
GALLERIES/Nonesuch Gallery
About
Tom Mendel read Theology and the History of Art at Clare College, Cambridge, before going on to run the Picture sales for an auction house in West London. Tom set up the Nonesuch Gallery in 2020 to provide high-quality, fully researched and above all interesting pictures to established collectors, institutional collections, and first-time buyers. We offer advice to clients on works coming up for sale, building their collections, and on private sales. The gallery specialises in works on paper from the 16th to 19th centuries; with a focus on landscape & topographical subjects, particularly those relating to 'The Grand Tour'.
Tom is one of the youngest members of the Society of London Art Dealers, and was recently featured in both the Antiques Trade Gazette and FRIEZE as part of features on a new generation of Old Master dealers.
