Jill Newhouse Gallery was founded in 1980 and specialises in 19th and 20th century works on paper by major artists including Delacroix, Géricault, Corot, Rodin, Bonnard, and Vuillard. Jill Newhouse, a fourth generation art dealer, is a past President of the Private Art Dealers Association and a member of the Art Dealers Association of America, currently serving on board of the ADAA Foundation. JNG has sold many important works to major collectors and to important museums worldwide including the Metropolitan Museum of Art; the Art Institute of Chicago; the National Gallery of Art, Washington, D.C.; the Louvre Museum, Paris; Centre Georges Pompidou, Paris; Kunsthalle, Hamburg, Germany; and many others. The gallery is co-authoring the ongoing catalogue raisonné of drawings by Corot.
